Terms Entered in Search
A name, location, or other term entered in a search tool is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Graham County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider may handle the query under its own privacy policy and technical practices.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or use a contact form, we retain the message and supplied contact details as needed to read and answer it. A message is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law. Do not send confidential records or sensitive personal data that are not needed for the question.
Data Collected During Visits
Routine technical information may be recorded when a page loads. It helps operate the site, understand general traffic, detect faults, and protect the service. The information may include:
- the visitor’s internet protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device category and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent on them;
- the referring website, when supplied; and
- the date and time of each request.
Cookies and Similar Storage
Cookies may be used to understand how visitors move through the site and to support site features. Browser controls can reject or delete cookies. Blocking them may cause some functions or outside tools to behave differently.
How Information Is Used
Information received through visits and voluntary submissions supports a limited set of operational purposes. We may use it to:

- send search requests to the appropriate partner service;
- measure which Graham County record pages visitors find useful;
- diagnose errors, misuse, and other technical problems; and

Websites Beyond Our Control
Links may lead to Graham County release records, sheriff and corrections pages, court or government portals, and third-party search services. Once a visitor follows one of those links, the destination’s privacy notice and data practices govern. We do not control how an outside operator collects, retains, secures, or shares information.
Some advertising partners may measure activity across multiple websites to select or evaluate interest-based ads. That tracking occurs through the partner’s systems and is governed by the partner’s settings and privacy terms, not by this notice alone.

We do not sell personal information. Data may still pass to service providers or authorities when needed for the functions described here:
- search partners that process a visitor’s submitted query;
- analytics providers that measure site use and performance;
- advertising networks that deliver and assess ads; and
- law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid subpoena, court order, warrant, or other binding legal demand.
Security Is Best Effort
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used to reduce unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet transmission, connected system, or storage method can be promised as fully secure. We therefore cannot guarantee that a breach or interception will never occur.
Visitors Younger Than Eighteen
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly request or collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted personal data may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on the law that applies, a visitor may ask us to take the following actions concerning personal information held by this site:
- provide a copy of the information associated with the requester;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- erase information when a valid deletion right applies; or
- stop or limit certain processing where an opt-out right exists.
We may need enough information to confirm the requester’s identity and locate the relevant data. These requests do not control records held by the Graham County Sheriff, Kansas Department of Corrections, a court, or another outside source.
Changes to This Notice
This Privacy Notice may be revised as site practices, services, or legal duties change. A revised version will appear on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after posting is subject to the updated notice.
